The Impact

Ecox and Circulayo logo

Promoting Circular and Digital Packaging

Through their partnership, Ecox and Circulayo aim to transform consumer behavior in the detergent sector by introducing a digital and circular packaging system. The solution incorporates a unique QR code on Ecox packaging, allowing the company to track customer refills and gather valuable data on sustainable actions. Customers are rewarded for their participation, fostering a deeper connection between brands and consumers.

Algar and Nilg.ai logo

Optimizing Recycling Infrastructure

Algar has partnered with Nilg.Ai to put in place an AI tool that optimizes the strategic placement of recycling bins in the city. By leveraging data and predefined rules, this collaboration improves the efficiency and accessibility of local recycling infrastructure, making recycling easier for residents and boosting waste management effectiveness in the region.

Amarsul and lixo logo

Tackling Contamination
Head-On

Amarsul has teamed up with Lixo to install a system that uses cameras and software to monitor waste container contents in real-time. This partnership enables optimized collection, contamination identification, and the implementation of targeted awareness efforts, resulting in a more efficient and cleaner waste management process.

Valorsul and Recicleye

Pioneering AI Technology in the country

Portugal’s first AI-powered sorting robot has significantly boosted Valorsul capabilities. This automated digital sorting technology uses computer vision and robotics to automatically detect and separate waste. It increases the recycling of beverage cartons, providing a greater volume of recyclables from the plant.

Mafra and Recysmart

Turning Waste into Rewards

Recysmart technology is being used to incentivize proper waste disposal and the community’s more active role in managing their urban waste. It uses sensors and AI technology to recognize the types of packaging introduced into the recycling point and counts the number of packages delivered. Thus, when citizens dispose of the packages in the correct place, they are awarded points on an app that offers discounts in local shops.
